Position Description
Credit Analyst

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable/Credit & Collections Analyst to join our team! This individual will be responsible for all accounts receivable related administrative functions, including contacting delinquent customers via phone to secure payment, assisting with printing and mailing of statements, reviewing account histories with customers, posting payments, and dealing with credit memos and adjustments.

In particular you can expect to 

  • Collection calls, emails, and correspondence
  • Providing customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, write-offs, offsets, credit requests  and  resolve client discrepancies and short payments
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts
  • Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts
  • Enlist the efforts of colleagues when necessary to accelerate the collection process
  • Report weekly and monthly to Accounts Receivable Manager
  • Process credit card payments per customer requests
  • Applies proper follow-up and negotiation skills while providing proper customer service skills
  • Work with Sales, Customer Service, Cash Application, and Tech Support on billings issues, repairs, and returns
  • Daily order approval; credit file review; new customer credit file review; assign/recommend credit limits within delegation of authority

To be successful, you will need:

  • SAP, Oracle or ERP experience required
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required
  • Knowledge of billing and collections procedures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Strong research abilities
  • Customer service skills
  • Adaptability and the ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Familiarity with FSCM credit module is a plus
